It has been six days since my husband and I arrived on the beautiful Hawaiian Island of Kauai. Our days consist of waking early, walking the beach and grabbing a perfect spot near one of the beautiful swimming pools at our hotel.
Once we have had our fill of lounging and tanning, we jump in our rental car and head out to explore the island.
Last night we decided to download the photos from my camera onto his tablet. He was very surprised to see that some of the pictures we captured were the same as his screen saver.
Below is a picture we took when we visited the Kilauea Lighthouse in Hanalei. Who knew this was such a popular photo opp?
This lighthouse was once used to guide ships to the island but the lights have been off for nearly 30 years now. In 1979, it was declared a National Historic Landmark. Breathtaking for sure!
